More faces for February 2013

I´m participating in Ayala Art´s project 29 Faces this February. It is my third time with this series as I really enjoy seeing the different styles of portraits, make new friends and I´ve also seen the progress I´ve made with it in each round . I´m up to 12 and I´m sharing these at Paint Party Friday.

You can click on each picture to make it bigger. :)
A strange thing happened this week. I made the sketches first and I felt I was going backwards instead of forward!  The previous faces looked better. Hopefully this week´s will look better with colour. Or I might just go on with the faces themselves until I have some I like.
This is where I copied the faces from:

Somehow the green face appeals to me. And don't worry, sometimes we feel like taking steps back then forward. Just keep drawing. That's all it needs.

Oh, and happy PPF! :)

Well, let me tell you: you didn't choose the easiest pictures either! So don't get discouraged if you feel these are not as good as the ones last week. Just keep going, you're doing great!

You are doing a great job as you're really challenging yourself with those magazines photos to draw from - not the easiest with all those different expressions - I always find open mouths full of teeth so hard to do whether they're human or animal!

You are doing great, very expressive faces! <3

Your faces are wonderful and each one is very different. Although I couldn't do the 29 faces this year I did it last year and some of the facial positions were very difficult. It's good to work through it - they get easier as you try again.

I love your faces - Some times when I am doing a sketch it turns out not quite right, but I think it is all practise + helps for the next one! x
